Routine Chlorination: Throughout the pool season, adjust pH to 7.2-7.6 with PH balancers. Follow label directions. Place 1 tab in pool feeder, floater or skimmer per 10, 000 gallons of pool water every other day or as often as needed to maintain a chlorine residual at 1-3 ppm. For Start-Up or Initial Shocking: With pump running and pool not in use, broadcast 1 pound of this product per 10, 000 gallons of water directly into the deep end of the pool. To prevent possible damage to the pool surface, use a pool brush to disperse any granules that may have settled at the bottom of the pool. Repeat procedure after 24 hours if needed, to establish a chlorine residual of 1-3 ppm as determined by a test kit. For Routine Shocking: Every 2 weeks with the pump running and pool not in use, broadcast 1 pound of this product per 10, 000 gallons of water directly into the deep end of the pool. Notice: Re-entry into treated pools is prohibited above levels of 3 ppm chlorine.
